- Hi.
-
- First, my system: A4000/040 25 MHz, 18 MB RAM, CV 64, Cybergfx, MUI 3.1, 17 "
- Monitor, AmiTCP 4.0 Demo, Amosaic 2.0 Prelease 1 and 3(?), 850 MB HD. Amosaic
- runs on a Cybergfx screen 1150x900x256 colors.
-
- Problem: I've run Amosaic (latest ver = ? 2.0 PR3?) for some time now without
- problems, but I've recently reconfigured my AmiTCP stack. Now, running
- Amosaic crashes my machine everytime, immediately after loading the homepage
- or trying to access anything else. I get a requestor saying "Please insert
- volume steve/ in any drive." And then the system totally hangs. Just before
- it crashes, I see the infoline at the bottom of the Mosaic window saying
- something like "Insufficient space in temporary directory" or something like
- that.
-
- This makes no sense to me since all drives on my system have at least 3-7 MB
- free and the recoverable ram drive (SD0:) is configured for up to 5 MB. I've
- used the same setup, with less HD space and a full ramdrive without problems
- with the same release of Amosaic in the past.
-
- In my reconfig, I've made a home directory called "Amitcp:steve" per the usual
- AmiTCP installation routine. Does Amosaic mess up with env:HOME defined or is
- it some other problem???
-
- Thanks in advance....
- - Steve.
